QR code- Graveyard memorials

In Denmark, Mrs Frydenlund, is among those pioneering a novel way to commemorate. She strolls through a  graveyard to honour her father Bent, who died earlier a year. She fixed a flower vase, a stone with a chip called a QR (Quick Response) Code. When her son Nikolai reaches down, scans the QR Code with his smartphone equipped with a free code-reading programme, and instantly the screen fills with a photograph of his grandfather, along with a summary of his life.

Mrs Frydenlund says, " My dad is important and I think his story and what he have done with his life is important and it's very important for the next generation to have his memory."

Denmark's biggest gravestone manufacturer believes that soon, the chips will be as much a part of the death process as writing a last will and testament. In today's digital world, It's a good way to tell the story of a person. And we all have a story. Both the farmer or premier , they all have a story. And also it makes a visit to the graveyard much more interesting like reading autobiography.
